se ci sono problemi faccio cmq copia ed incolla ..... Earlier this year, Soundgarden vocalist Chris Cornell stood in for the late Layne Staley at a Mad Season reunion concert at Seattle's Benaryora Hall. With the band having recently announced that they are heading back into the recording studio, speculation has been high as to whether Cornell would be joining them.
Now, in an interview with AMNY (via Loudwire), the singer has stated that he would be open to working with Martin, McKagan and McCready again... just so long as they don't use the Mad Season name:
"I won't be doing anything under that name because of the historical significance to it. But I'd certainly be amenable to doing stuff with those three guys, Barrett [Martin], Duff McKagan and Mike McCready. The experience of being onstage with them and just playing a few songs was really amazing. I was really blown away."
However, the singer seemed to suggest that he won't be involved in the band's current recording sessions, as he is busy with solo work:
"Having said that I think of it as something far in the future as all of us are slammed busy. But someday, I would love nothing more than to play with those three guys."
If not Chris Cornell, who else would you like to see fronting a reformed Mad Season? Mark Lanegan also sang with the band in the past, so could be a contender, but it there anyone else who could take the role once held by Layne Staley? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
